a derived-case comparative strategy which consists of a coordinate clause construction where the two clauses assert that the gradable predicative scale applies to the comparee and the standard. Example: Sika dzarang tica gahar, dzarang rei kesik That horse is bigger than this horse is an instance of the conjoined comparative -- it conjoins dzarang tica gahar That horse is big and dzarang rei kesik This horse is small.
